Crookston woman injured in crash in Polk County

POLK COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) – A Crookston, Minnesota woman suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash in Polk County Tuesday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, just after 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, a Ford Taurus and a Dodge Caravan were traveling eastbound on Highway 2 when the vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 75.

The driver of the trailer, a 34-year-old woman, was injured and taken to a local hospital; her passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was uninjured in the accident.

The driver of the Taurus and the 18-year-old man from Hallock, MN were also not injured.

According to officials, all occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
