Jimmy Kimmel asks Republicans to watch this video before voting

Only one week left until the 2024 election Jimmy Kimmel opened his show on Tuesday with a serious appeal to viewers.

“Today’s monologue is for the Republicans,” Kimmel said. “So if you have someone in your life who either plans to vote Trump Or if you're thinking about it, I want you to send this to a Republican you love and respect with the request: Ask them to look into the whole thing as a personal favor to you.”

Kimmel noted that the country is so divided not only because of Trump, but also because of people like Kimmel himself.

“I make fun and belittle people a lot, and that’s not always productive,” he admitted. “Do I think I have good reasons to be biased towards him? Yes. And I’m probably wrong, but I think if you hear some of these reasons, you might agree with me even just a little bit.”

During his monologue, Kimmel urged Trump supporters to really focus on the things Trump has said over the years and what that says about his leadership.

“Since 2015 [Trump’s] I said he wanted it Repeal Obamacare with something better,” Kimmel emphasized. He played a montage of clips of Trump promising year after year that he would announce his new replacement health care plan any day.

“Donald Trump was president for four years,” Kimmel said. “You would think that at this point he would have some answers, some sort of plan, to simple questions about issues like health care and child care.”

Kimmel argued that the things Trump lied about went far beyond what any politician should ever get away with, using his repeated scaremongering Forced sex reassignment operations in primary schools as an example:

“I understand that this is a difficult topic… but this alarm that he keeps sounding about forced gender reassignment surgeries, that's not happening. “This is an imaginary problem,” Kimmel said.

“That’s a lie, you have to know that,” Kimmel added. “You know that. This isn't real. The president should focus on things that are actual things.”

Kimmel explained the extent of it in detail Trump's agingas well as the obvious abuses he promotes, such as his Chinese-made product Trump Biblesand asked Trump supporters, “Why doesn’t this bother anyone? How is this not embarrassing?”

Kimmel listed Trump's details Election interference in 2020 along with signs that Trump will try Do it again in 2024. He noticed the many prominent Republicansincluding Trump's own former vice president Mike Pencewho refused to support him at his last performance.

“This has never happened before,” Kimmel emphasized in front of a wall with photos of all the Republicans who have turned against the former president.

Kimmel argued, “I saw a T-shirt the other day that said, 'I support Trump because he pisses off the people who piss me off.' But is that really all we want for America? Annoy each other? I don’t want that.”
