Protect Israel's Water: The app that warns users of water leaks

The Arad Group has launched an innovative app that notifies users of water leaks in real time, enabling consumers to achieve significant water and financial savings. This launch is part of an initiative by Modiin Mayor and Local Government Center Chairman Haim Bibas to conserve Israel's important water resources.

A campaign event was held today in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut to promote the download of the Read Your Meter Pro app, which is in line with Bibas' mission to improve water conservation efforts. The app directly alerts users to leaks and water loss in the home in real time, helping Israelis save both water and money. During the event, Arad Group representatives shared impressive app download statistics with Bibas, showing that residents of Modiin-Maccabim-Reut lead the country in app usage compared to other cities.

Haim Bibas, Mayor of Modiin-Maccabim-Reut and Chairman of the Local Government Center, said: “Protecting our natural resources, especially water, is a national challenge. In this as in other national issues, local government is at the forefront, responsibly leading technological innovations to improve services for residents. As a smart city, Modiin-Maccabim-Reut is at the forefront of advanced technology to improve service and information delivery to its residents. I invite communities across Israel to adopt these innovative technological solutions and join the movement for improved water management for future generations.”

Gabi Yankovitz, CEO of Arad Group, added: “We thank Local Government Center Chairman and Modiin Mayor Haim Bibas and appreciate his efforts to encourage residents to conserve our precious water resource while saving significant amounts of money.” We commend Modiin for setting records in the use of the Read Your Meter Pro app, and we call on other residents across the country to join this revolution. The Arad Group promises to continue its efforts to provide innovative, accurate and reliable technological advances in water management and measurement in Israel and around the world.”
