Grand jury indicts two women accused of attacking Independence McDonald's

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A Cuyahoga County grand jury has indicted two women accused of assaulting another woman at the Independence McDonald's.

Tori Hawkins and Carilyn Lopez have both been charged with aggravated assault and will be arraigned on November 13th.

According to Independence police, Hawkins and Lopez attacked Tiffany Bulanda at the McDonald's in the 6200 block of Brecksville Road just before 1 p.m. on Oct. 16.

When officers arrived, they found Bulanda lying on the ground, screaming that she was in pain and couldn't feel her leg.

Bulanda, of Garfield Heights, told 19 News she was attacked after a misunderstanding about one of her children.

McDonald's surveillance video captured the encounter and shows a McDonald's employee trying to keep the women apart.

Hawkins and Lopez left McDonald's before police arrived, but officers were able to track them down.
