The Ministry of Health in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip puts the number of war deaths at 43,163

The health ministry in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip said on Wednesday that at least 43,163 people had been killed in the years-long war between Israel and Palestinian militants.

According to the ministry, the figure includes 102 deaths in the last 24 hours. Since the war began, when Hamas militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, 101,510 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip.
