Emergency crews respond to major fire in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – A large fire has been reported on River Street in New Haven.

The New Haven Fire Department responded around 6:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Flames were reported from a large brick building at 36 River St.

The fire was large enough to be seen on a Department of Transportation camera on Interstate 95 in the area.

Channel 3 has a team on the way to the scene.
