Starbucks Corporate is asking employees to return to the office or face termination

According to a Bloomberg News report, Starbucks employees will be required to return to the office three days a week starting in January or be fired. As the outlet reports, new CEO Brian Niccol last month asked employees to work from anywhere, even though that should normally be the office. Now, a memo from the company says employees who don't return to the office will face disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from their position. Starbucks has a hybrid work policy that applies to its approximately 3,500 corporate employees.

It is owned by West Seattle resident Jonathan Stebbin, who also hopes to open a Ben & Jerry's cake shop there by April 2025. Stebbin says they serve beans from Local Goods Orcas Roast.
