A tractor-trailer closes part of northbound I-55 near Chenoa

CHENOA (25News Now) – Portions of northbound Interstate 55 in McLean County are closed due to a tractor-trailer.

According to Illinois State Police, this happened just before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning on northbound I-55 at the Chenoa exit.

The accident involved two semi-trailers, one of which caught fire.

Traffic added by ISP will be rerouted off northbound I-55 at Chenoa.

No further information was released.
