Grand Theft Auto VI insider says Rockstar almost delayed announcement due to leaks

Rockstar Games was willing to hold back its announcement due to the reported leaks.

The fans have been waiting for the next major Grand Theft Auto Franchise rate for years. After Grand Theft Auto VFans would wait for a while before knowing about the next part. Of course, we found out about the reveal in November last year along with a trailer. This report almost pushed the entire disclosure announcement further into the year.

Thanks to a report from Dexertowe find out today that a GTA 6 Insiders had revealed plans to hold back the game announcement. Tez2 apparently noted that they knew that Rockstar Games' Sam Houser wanted to push back the announcement. The reason for this was a report by Jason Schreier. If you don't remember, Jason alerted his followers by this Bloomberg release that Rockstar Games had planned to announce the next Grand Theft Auto The title will be released within the week and there will be a trailer for the game later in December.

It was Sam who planned to push back the announcement to confuse Jason Scherier and their reporting. However, this ultimately didn't happen, and Rockstar Games has officially confirmed this Grand Theft Auto VI was currently being worked on, and a trailer was released in December of the same year. If the delay had occurred, it would have been quite a blow to Jason, who has been a well-known gaming industry insider for years.
