Online social deduction game Death Note: Killer Within announced for PS5, PS4 and PC

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Grounding, Inc. have announced this Death Note: Killer Withinan online social deduction game based on the Death notice intellectual property for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam). The release will take place on November 5th. It will also be available via the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games catalog from November 5th to December 2nd.

Death Note: Killer Within is an online social deduction game for up to 10 players. The players are divided into two teams with different goals. To win the game, players must discover each other's identities and either eliminate L, who threatens Kira's power, or seize the Death Note.

Key Features

• Enjoy a battle of wits as Kira and his followers or as L and the investigators in the world of Death notice. As equal opponents, the two teams compete against each other to control the game while hiding their true identities from each other. The Death Note is hidden among the players and leads to an exciting game of cat and mouse until one team overpowers the other.
• Each role has its own characteristics that allow you to develop a deep sense of strategy and tactical play. Depending on the role you are assigned, a wide range of strategies can be formulated, and each random scenario evolves into a high-stakes tactical game.
• Supports crossplay for large groups of players.
• Customize your game avatar with up to seven types of unlockable items, choose a custom nameplate and special animation that appears during dramatic moments of the game.
