In a new lawsuit, a woman claims Metro Boomin raped her, resulting in a pregnancy and an abortion. Vanessa LeMaistre is suing the hip-hop producer for, among other things, assault and sexual harassment. She filed her lawsuit in California on October 29, TMZ first reported. A lawyer for Metro, née Leland Tyler Wayne, denied the “false allegations” to TMZ. According to her lawsuit, LeMaistre first met Metro in 2016 and became close to him after the death of her 9-month-old son, considering him “her friend.” She claims that one day in his studio, Metro gave her a shot of alcohol after she took half a Xanax, which caused her to pass out. She claims she woke up on a bed to Metro raping her. LeMaistre later learned she was pregnant, she said, but had not had sex with anyone else. She claims she had an abortion because she “couldn't maintain any semblance of her deteriorating mental health” during the pregnancy.

LeMaistre's lawsuit cites several of Metro's previous tweets that show “his flippant attitude toward sexual assault and drugging of women.” The lawsuit also cites the song “Rap Saved Me” by Metro and rappers 21 Savage, Offset and Quavo, which was released in October 2017. The chorus of 21 Raps says, “She took a LeMaistre said it was “terrifying”. LeMaistre's lawyers said in a statement that Metro's posts and texts “explicitly state his intentions to harm women.” They added: “These are more than just words and it is time he is held accountable for his manipulative tactics and unacceptable behavior.”

The lawsuit comes during a record year for Metro after he released two consecutive No. 1 albums with “Future.” We don't trust you And We still don't trust youalong with the song “Like That” featuring Future and Kendrick Lamar, which spent three weeks at No. 1. The producer is expected to receive a number of Grammy nominations next week and is scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Miami in December.

Metro's lawyer told TMZ that the case was “pure extortion,” claiming that LeMaistre had previously requested payment. “Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court,” his lawyer added. “He will file a lawsuit for malicious prosecution if he prevails.” In response, a lawyer for LeMaistre told Vulture: “Defamatory comments will be part of Metro's case Boomin, and we look forward to proving Ms. LeMaistre’s allegations in court and ultimately before a jury.”
