Gonzales man is charged with molesting and raping a teenager

ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) – A Gonzales man is behind bars after allegedly repeatedly raping and molesting a young girl.

According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, investigators arrested 38-year-old Adam Howell Sr. of Gonzales on Tuesday, October 29th. He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on four counts of first-degree rape and two counts of molestation of a child juvenile.

Howell is accused of sexually abusing a teenager for at least five years.

Officials said information obtained during the investigation confirmed the victim's claims.
