Shaun White and Nina Dobrev announce their engagement

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev are officially engaged.

The three-time Olympic gold medalist and “Vampire Diaries” alum shared photos from the proposal in separate engagement announcements on Wednesday.

“She said YES 💍♾️,” White wrote in an Instagram post, while Dobrev captioned her post, “Rest in peace friend, hello fiancé 💍♾️.”

The couple also shared pictures of the proposal with Vogue. The sweet pictures show the couple in matching black outfits in a room decorated with flower petals and candles.

“I went into shock. I froze and stared at him,” Dobrev told Vogue of the moment she realized White was proposing to her in a New York restaurant.

She told the outlet that White worked with his publicist to create a fake invitation to a fashion event for her, sharing, “He made the invitation look so legitimate.”

Dobrev also told the outlet that White “said all the right things” in the proposal.

The couple has been linked since 2019 and often shares photos together on social media.
