Street partially closed in northwest Atlanta due to gas leak

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A busy road in northwest Atlanta was partially closed Wednesday afternoon because of a broken gas line, according to fire officials.

The Atlanta Fire Department said crews responded to a broken 4-inch gas line at Marietta Boulevard NW and Bolton Road. They said Marietta Boulevard was partially closed to traffic at the intersection with Bolton Road.

The Atlanta Gas Light is on the way and Atlanta Police are assisting with traffic control.

Fire officials said no injuries or rescue workers were reported.
