Manchester City 5-0 Sparta Prague

HAALAND DOUBLE SEND CITY ON THE WAY

Erling Haaland scored a memorable brace as Manchester City caused an upset with a comfortable 5-0 win over Sparta Prague

Haaland scored twice within 10 minutes of the second half after Phil Foden had given his side the lead in the first half.

John Stones and a penalty from Matheus Nunes completed the score and a comfortable win for City.

Pep Guardiola was visibly unhappy at the break as his side controlled possession but only had Foden's opener to show for their efforts.

But Haaland opened his scoring with a memorable acrobatic finish that sent the ball flying over the goalkeeper.

Then the floodgates opened as the Norwegian marksman scored an incredible team goal and Stones then scored the fourth.

To complete the win, Nunes was fouled late in the penalty area and converted the penalty.

City now have a Champions League record of 26 games unbeaten – one more than rivals Manchester United.
