The Laredo family is asking for help identifying the driver who was involved in a recent accident over the weekend

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – A Laredo family is asking the community for help identifying the driver they believe caused their car to roll over multiple times.

The accident occurred early Sunday morning, October 27, at the intersection of Lomas del Sur and Cuatro Vientos.

The victim of the accident, Cynthia Linares, was driving with her three children when suddenly another car tried to pass between her vehicle and the one next to her, hitting her car from behind and causing it to roll over.

Linares calls it a miracle and hopes the driver is found and held accountable. She calls on the community to be vigilant.

“He didn’t stop, not even to check if we were all OK. I mean, he just left the scene. From what I understand, they told me it was a white Chrysler. People helped us that day. I am so blessed that they were there. I mean, God put them there at the right time,” Linares said.

Linares also said that the car was totaled and was the family's only means of transportation.
