Teenage driver accused of driving into fence, knocking over gravestones at Hyannis Cemetery – Boston News, Weather, Sports

HANNIS, MASS. (WHDH) – A teenage driver is accused of driving into a Hyannis cemetery Wednesday morning and knocking over headstones, police said.

The SUV plowed through the fence and several graves in the cemetery next to the Federated Church of Hyannis.

The video shows a shredded piece of fencing in the grass in the middle of the cemetery, as well as scattered headstones and debris.

The alleged teen driver is served with a citation by Massachusetts State Police to appear in court for failing to stop.
