The Weeknd f. Anitta “São Paulo” music video Body Horror

Master of horror Abel Tesfaye is bringing body horror to market just before Halloween. Could we have expected less? The Weeknd's latest single is still unreleased Hurry up tomorrow is “São Paulo” with Anitta. The pair first released the song in September in Anitta's native Brazil – in São Paulo of all places, can you believe it? Now the song is streaming and the music video is stressing us all out. In the video directed by Freeka Tet, Anitta is sporting a baby bump. Okay, so far normal. The baby bump then grows a mouth roughly where Anitta's belly button should be and sings The Weeknd's verses.

Anitta told Poster Brazil about the collaboration process: “I wrote some verses as a joke and never thought they would become serious. Suddenly I received the finished song. I loved it! I felt very honored and flattered. I've always been a big fan of him and his work. I never thought this would happen and now it's a dream come true. It's, as promised, a little more Brazilian funk around the world.” Their dream come true is now our collective nightmare. Happy Halloween?
