Superior's Fairlawn Mansion is hosting a Halloween murder mystery dinner party

SUPERIOR, Wis. (Northern News Now) – They say the Fairlawn Mansion is a spooky place, and this weekend the mansion is inviting the public to help solve a mock murder.

The Fairlawn Mansion is hosting a Halloween murder mystery dinner party called “A Gaggle of Ghosts: a Halloween Murder Mystery,” hoping to get adults in on the holiday fun, too.

Participants will dine at a catered buffet provided by Olive Garden as they attempt to solve a long-ago murder mystery.

The mansion will feature gothic decor that stays true to the Victorian style while spooky music fills the mansion and sets the mood.

In addition, the presenters will be dressed accordingly.

“We invite everyone to come in costume,” said Jordan Stish, museum manager and interim director for Superior Public Museums. “The hosts of this event will be in full costume, all staff will be in full costume. It’s just a fun way for adults to get in the Halloween spirit.”

However, this crime thriller is only suitable for people aged 21 and over.

For family-friendly fun, Fairlawn Mansion is hosting a free spooky Halloween event on Crime Day.

It will be filled with games, crafts and even a costume contest.

“A Gaggle of Ghosts: a Halloween Murder Mystery” takes place Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m
