Dan Benson slams Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie

Dan Benson is not happy about being blocked by ex on Instagram The Wizards of Waverly Place Costar David Henrie.

Benson, 37, posted one Video via Instagram On Tuesday, October 29th, this put Henrie, 35, to shame because he could no longer follow Henrie or view his posts.

The conflict between Benson and Henrie began after Henrie took part in a recent BuzzFeed game with the young actors from the new one The Wizards of Waverly Place start anew. They were asked to choose which original cast member should return as a guest star on the series, and the list also included Benson, who played Zeke Beakerman alongside Henrie's Justin Russo.

When Henrie looked at BuzzFeed's list of potential guest stars, she quipped, “I can't believe you brought any of these people here. Millennials understand that.”

Laughter filled the room when he mentioned Benson's character's name. While Henrie's joke wasn't explained, the Disney star was likely referring to the fact that Benson currently works in adult entertainment and is a creator on OnlyFans.

Last year, Benson posted a TikTok video explaining his decision switching from acting to OnlyFans in 2022.

“One of the questions I get asked all the time is, ‘What? Huh? What do you mean? No. How?'” he said in January 2023. “So I thought I'd take a moment to explain how I kind of stumbled and ended up in adult entertainment.”

He continued: “I was constantly getting messages from people, including women, who I found incredibly attractive.” It turned out that messaging the women who turned out to be them wasn't the best idea were not who she claimed to be.”

What he meant was that these women had shared nude photos and videos of him online.

“It was a pretty traumatic experience, and for years I tried to get rid of her, to get her off the internet because obviously I didn't want her out there,” he said at the time. “But as you can imagine, it was quite a difficult task.”

He said the experience had “a very big, negative impact on my life,” but “eventually I decided to stop fighting it and instead go the other way, embrace it and build a side.” And Instead of letting these people sell my privacy, my… you know what I mean, I decided to say, 'Okay, screw you. I'll sell it myself.'”
