Road closed due to multi-vehicle crash in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A serious accident involving multiple vehicles and injuries forced Clarksville Police to close a major road early Thursday morning.

Clarksville police said three cars were on Dunbar Cave Road near Warfield Blvd. crashed. At approximately 5:45 a.m., the road was closed in both directions between Kimberly Drive and Wingate Drive.

Injuries are being reported and drivers are being asked to find alternative routes around the scene of the accident.

The severity of the injuries is unknown.
