Krispy Kreme is giving free donuts and “I Voted” stickers on Election Day

Krispy Kreme is offering voters a sweet incentive this Election Day.

The donut company and coffeehouse chain are once again celebrating “Doughmocracy” in participating U.S. stores for the 2024 presidential election.

Regardless of who you choose for the Oval Office — Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump — on Tuesday, November 5, guests can “receive an Original Glazed Donut for free, no purchase necessary,” the company says.

Krispy Kreme will also distribute “I Voted” stickers at physical locations while supplies last – even if you've already voted before but want to show off a new proof sticker along with a fresh donut. The limit is one per guest.

“Participation in our democracy should be celebrated! That’s why we’re excited to brighten everyone’s day with free Original Glazed Donuts on Election Day,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme global chief brand officer, said in a statement.

According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, voters in 47 states as well as the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands can cast their ballots early and in person. Although Alabama, Mississippi and New Hampshire do not offer early in-person voting, there may still be an option to send in mail-in ballots.

Krispy Kreme has participated in political giveaways in recent years, most recently in March on Super Tuesday – when 16 states hosted their presidential primaries. The nationwide offer was known as Krispy Kreme's Super Twosday and allowed customers to pick up two original glazed donuts with no purchase necessary.

For those who can't wait a full week for the chain's Election Day deal, Krispy Kreme has another sweet treat just in time for Halloween. On Thursday, October 31, costumed customers can sink their fangs into a free Original Glazed Donut at Krispy Kreme, again no purchase necessary.
