There's no fear of snow this Halloween, but rain and wind will break the spell of warmer weather

(WLUK) — The weather for Halloween looks different than it has in recent days, but it won't be like it was on October 31st.

It was cold on Halloween last year.

Green Bay had a high of 40 degrees with an overnight low of 26 degrees. We actually had some snow accumulating to about three quarters of an inch.

What is normal this time of year? A high temperature of 51 degrees is normal. However, the warmest high of 74 degrees occurred in 1950.

A normal low temperature is around 32 degrees, with the warmest low we saw being 55 degrees in 1900. The coldest low we saw was 18 degrees in 1917.

Now normal precipitation, with rain it is less than a quarter of an inch while with snow there is none. The snowiest Halloween we actually had was a few years ago in 2019 when we saw just under two inches of snow, and the wettest Halloween was in 1960 when we had just under an inch and a half of snow.
