The big potential snow accumulation of Halloween in 2024 is just around the corner

By the time any trick-or-treaters hit the streets in the evening, the snow will probably be gone, but it will be a rough, wet and stormy night. Temperatures will drop into the 80s, the winds will pick up, and many Minnesotans will take a page from the 1991 playbook and don those costumes.

Pirate costume too drafty? Cut some eye holes in a blanket – boom, you're a pirate ghost. Are you already planning on trick-or-treating as a ghost? Put a parka over your sheets – now you are the ghost of an arctic explorer.
