UP CM Yogi Adityanath visits Ram temple, greets people on Diwali | Lucknow News

HAPPINESS: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the newly constructed building Ram Temple in Ayodhya during Diwali celebrations on Thursday, officials confirmed. During his visit, he also paid homage to the Hanuman Garhi Temple.

On this festive occasion, the Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes and extended festive greetings to all the residents of the state.
“The Prime Minister said that this year’s Diwali festival is historic and unprecedented. Ram Lalla has taken his seat in his abode after a long wait of 500 years. Countless lamps will also be lit at the new temple constructed at the birthplace of Ram Lalla in Ayodhyadham,” the Prime Minister's Office said in a post on X in Hindi.

“The state government restores the ancient and glorious tradition of celebrating Diwali in Ayodhya by organizing 'Deepotsav' and is working towards bringing the glory of Ayodhya to the entire global community,” it added.
Former prime minister and BSP chief Mayawati expressed her Diwali wishes on social media.
“Congratulations and best wishes to everyone on the Diwali festival. Also, best wishes to the people of Bhai Dooj and Chhath Puja,” she posted on X in Hindi.
