Valencia-Real Madrid is one of the games postponed due to deadly flooding

Real Madrid's LaLiga game at Valencia on Saturday has been postponed due to deadly flash floods in Spain.

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced on Thursday that all this weekend's games in the Valencia region will be postponed at the request of LaLiga.

The Spanish government declared three days of national mourning following this week's torrential rain. At least 104 people died and “many people” are missing.

The LaLiga game between Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano on Saturday and Levante's second division home game against Malaga on Monday were also postponed.

Two games were also canceled in League F, including Real Madrid's game against Levante.

Earlier this week, the RFEF postponed Valencia's Copa del Rey match in Parla, which was due to take place on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, LaLiga announced that a minute's silence will be observed before all games this weekend to pay respect to the victims of the devastating flash floods.

Madrid are in second place in LaLiga, six points behind Barcelona, which hosts Espanyol in the city derby on Sunday.
