Cloudy, windy, mild, a few showers

FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig's forecast: Storm warnings are still in effect today on Lake Michigan! A WIND ADVISORY was released for most of our area from 2:00 p.m. this afternoon until 2:00 this evening. Sustained southwest/west winds 15 to 30 mph are likely, with gusts of 40 to 50 mph possible. A few showers are expected today, with the possibility of a thunderstorm as a strong cold front moves through. The best chance for rain and isolated thunderstorms is this morning into the early afternoon, with drier trends heading into trick-or-treating time. Temperatures will fall from the upper 60s/near 70s to the upper 50s and it will be windy and stormy. There will be more chances of rain and possibly quite wet spells from Sunday afternoon into next Tuesday. Stay tuned to FOX 17 for your latest weather updates.

TODAY / HALLOWEEN: **WIND ADVISORY** Cloudy, windy and mild, showers are likely and a thunderstorm is possible, especially in the morning and early afternoon. Rain showers will taper off by mid/late afternoon, in time for trick-or-treating. Highs will be around 70 early and then fall into the 50s by afternoon. Winds southwest 15 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and windy with a chance of showers. Lows in the lower 40s. West wind 15 to 25 mph.

FRIDAY: Morning clouds, but increasingly sunny to partly cloudy and cooler. Highs in the lower 50s. Winds northwest 5 to 15 mph.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and a little warmer with highs in the upper 50s.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy, with showers occurring in the afternoon and evening. Highs in the mid 50s.

MONDAY: Cloudy, probably rain. Slightly warmer with highs in the mid 60s.
