The Weeknd and Anitta share body horror-inspired “São Paulo” video

Just in time for Halloween, The Weeknd has shared the new video for “São Paulo,” a collaboration with Anitta and the latest single from his upcoming album Hurry up tomorrow.

“Wanted to get this out before Halloween! This shit makes you sweat in your costumes,” Abel Tesfaye wrote on social media after the video was released.

The body horror-inspired image shows a pregnant Anitta – in one Eyes without a face-Mask – she runs through the eponymous Brazilian city with her baby bump exposed. However, things get spooky as the Freeka Tet-directed video progresses as Anitta's baby bump develops an external mouth that sings “São Paulo” as Anitta twirls around.

The Weeknd and Anitta previously debuted “São Paulo” at the singer's one-night concert event in the Brazilian city, where he also premiered other tracks of his Hurry up tomorrowthe third part of an album trilogy containing: After hours And Dawn FM; Tesfaye previously shared the singles “Dancing in the Flames” and “Timeless” featuring Playboi Carti from the album.

While The Weeknd has already released three singles from the album and the LP is available to pre-order, there is a release date for Hurry up tomorrow was not announced.
