Fletcher Cox claps back at Le'Veon Bell according to 'blouse' comment

Le'Veon Bell recently mocked Fletcher Cox for his interesting fashion choices in an interview with Michael Strahan on Fox NFL Sunday – and Cox has since responded.

This prompted many on social media to post their reaction to the former Philadelphia Eagles star's unique attire. This included Bell, who wasn't exactly a fan of the fashion statement – which Cox took exception to.

“lol I've become a ** man wearing a blouse, I'm done [laughing emoji] They caught her,” Bell’s tweet said.

Cox responded in a quote tweet.

“You need my number, my boy???? I'm not talking about the Internet!!!! I am a real friend!!! TTM,” was Cox’s response.

Make what you will of Cox's fashion choices, but it's no surprise that an NFL player (or a former one, in this case) would want to make a statement in the fashion world. Many players in the NFL and NBA make fashion their hobby, and Cox seems to be no different.

While this appears to be just an internet affair, given their NFL affiliation, it's no surprise that the two lashed out at each other on social media.

Cox played his entire 12-year professional career with the Philadelphia Eagles, while Bell is best known for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Being part of two rival cross-state franchises, their paths have crossed a time or two throughout their NFL careers.

Still, Bell only played five seasons in Pittsburgh before turning journeyman in the latter stages of his career. There were rumors at the time that Bell may have been flirting with the idea of coming to Philadelphia in 2018, but that later turned out to be hearsay. Bell later signed with the New York Jets and retired after the 2021 season.

Cox also recently retired, hanging up his cleats in March following the 2023-24 NFL season. He played 188 games for the Eagles and totaled 70 sacks during that time.
