Gusts of wind, possible showers around southeast Michigan

4Weather warning – Here's what weather you can expect on Halloween in Metro Detroit.

It's raining this afternoon/evening

  • Scattered showers will move through this afternoon, and a few drops may even last into the evening.

  • Latest high resolution data shows there will be a few more showers this evening until 7pm.

  • The rain falls from west to east. The further west you are, the sooner it dries out.

Strong winds around

  • Regardless of whether it rains, the wind will be quite strong, gusting over 40 mph at times this evening.

  • Although the wind will not be as strong on Friday, it will still gust over 20 miles per hour at times during the first half of the day.

It's cooler this weekend

  • Behind this system, things will be really cool this weekend.

  • Highs on Friday will have a hard time getting into the lower to mid 50s and on Sunday we will reach the upper 50s.

  • It's noticeably cooler compared to the last two days, but we'll be closer to where we should be at this time of year.

More rain early next week

  • We still expect rain to return later on Sunday, but especially on Monday and Tuesday next week.
