It comes two years after Brittany split from Stanaland after two years of marriage.

The actress and the “Selling The OC” star announced their separation in a joint statement on their respective Instagram accounts, explaining that they “need to live our fullest, most authentic lives.”

The joint statement said: “This decision was made with love and mutual respect for each other.” We recognized that we needed to take some time and ensure that each of us lived our fullest, most authentic lives.

“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us, but also for our dog Charlie.”

“We greatly appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we move through this new chapter.”

Reports of marital problems between the former couple began circulating when the realtor claimed his Selling The OC co-star Kayla Cardona tried to kiss him off camera.

“They've had problems before, but this is the final straw,” a source told People of their relationship becoming the storyline of the Netflix spin-off “Selling Sunset.”

A source said that Tyler's participation in the show and turning her life into a storyline “broke them apart” as a couple.

The insider added: “Brittany never wanted Tyler on the show, but he was adamant. 'He wanted to make a name for himself on his own terms.'

People reported on his reality show that the former couple is “completely done” and “all the girls are obsessed with him.”

Before Tyler officially split, he “tried to be really respectful,” but the female attention from his colleagues “100 percent affected his marriage.”

During the Netflix show's first season, viewers saw Tyler caught up in a pivotal storyline that claimed his co-star Kayla tried to kiss him off-camera.

His flirtatious behavior towards other female cast members was also repeatedly mentioned, with show enemies Alexandra Rose and Alexandra Jarvis finding scenes of Alex Hall licking his nose inappropriate.

Tyler gave Alex a kiss in the second season of Selling OC, which debuted in theaters in 2023, a year after his split from Brittany.

In a recent interview with Call Her Daddy, Brittany hinted that Tyler cheated on her, but he continued to deny that he was ever unfaithful during their marriage.

The interview also prompted Alex to refute rumors that she had an affair with Tyler while he was dating Snow, with Hall interpreting Brittany's comments as referring to her, although the actress did not give her name.

Tyler and Brittany got engaged in 2019 and tied the knot in March 2020 in a romantic ceremony in Malibu in front of 120 friends and family.

They announced their separation in 2022 and Brittany filed for divorce in January 2023 before it was finalized in June of that year, according to People.
