Information leaks show images of the Huawei Mate 50 – Telegraph

Huawei's release schedule has been irregular, but the company has confirmed that it plans to release the Mate 50 series at some point.

The latest leaks show images of three flagship phones and a new tablet, as well as a number of rumored specifications. However, this information is only speculative and some of it may not be accurate.

GSMArena reports that the Huawei Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip but are still limited to the 4G network. The Pro model will apparently have a solution to connect to the 5G network, just like the P50 Pro, and the RS model will also have the same solution, Telegrafi reports.

The Pro and RS models have 12GB of RAM memory and internal storage space of 128/256 and 512GB, while the Mate 50 model has 8GB of RAM memory and the internal storage space has two options: 128 and 256 GB.

The main camera with 50MP sensor should have a switchable aperture of f/1.4 and f/4. The camera on the Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS models must be an IMX800, while the camera on the Mate 50 must be an IMX766. All three models are expected to have a telephoto lens, the specifications of which, like the ultra-wide-angle lens, are still unclear.

The selfie camera is 13MP and has a 3D sensor for opening the phone with your face, this only applies to the Pro and RS models.

All three phones are expected to feature 66W fast charging, while battery capacity on the Pro and RS is 4,500mAh, while the basic Mate 50 will have a capacity of 4,400mAh.

According to rumors, the Mate 50 trio will feature AMOLED displays from BOE. The Pro and RS are said to have a 6.78-inch 120Hz curved screen, while the more basic model will have a flat LTPS screen, although the exact size is not yet known. /Telegraph/
