A teenage girl was killed and another injured in a crash in Warren County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Warren County that left one young girl dead and another injured.

According to a THP report, a Kentworth tractor-trailer was traveling on State Route 56 while a 2013 Ford Fusion was traveling on Capshaw Road Wednesday morning when it came to the intersection of SR56.

The vehicles collided and traveled north a short distance before the Ford left the roadway and collided with a fence.

The 72-year-old driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old driver was killed and the 15-year-old passenger was injured.

Everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seatbelt. No charges have been filed in this fatal accident.
