With his team falling behind late in the third quarter and facing a fourth down near midfield, New York Jets outside hitter Davante Adams unleashed a classic, absolutely wicked stutter-and-go move around the cornerback of the Houston Texans, Kamari Lassiter, and gained a big lead down the left sideline.

However, towards the end of the game he was hit badly and appeared to land on his shoulder while his head hit the ground.

Adams remained on the field for several moments after the game and was eventually helped to his feet and then to the blue medical tent on the sideline. According to the Amazon Prime broadcast, he was accompanied into the tent by an independent neurologist, which suggested he was undergoing a concussion evaluation. The Jets confirmed he was diagnosed with a concussion, but he later returned to the game.

And he made one of the most important plays of the night for the Jets, beating Texas safety Jalen Pitre off the line and scoring a slot fade that turned into a 37-yard touchdown to give New York its lead just under three minutes into the game remaining to expand to two points.

Again, this is classic Rodgers-to-Adams stuff, and in a huge situation for a Jets team that desperately needs a win.
