Dodgers fan blows his hand away with fireworks at World Series celebration

A World Series celebration Wednesday night turned tragic for a Dodgers fan…he ripped his hand off while lighting fireworks in the streets of LA

The horrific incident happened downtown just minutes after the Dodgers beat the Yankees in Game 5 – and it was all unfortunately caught on video.

But be careful, it is extremely graphic.

A man can be seen wearing one in the footage Clayton Kershaw 'King' jersey No. 22 is seen with a flaming firework in the middle of a zebra crossing – when it suddenly exploded in his hand.

The explosion caused a fireball to engulf the man… and moments later he could be seen stumbling out of the smoke, seemingly in a state of shock.

Both hands appeared to be bloody – but one of them appeared to be missing several fingers.

Passersby ran to his side and pleaded with others to call 911. Then the video ended.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Dept. told TMZ Sports …First responders arrived at the scene of the accident at 2:30 a.m. Thursday – and found the 25-year-old conscious and alert, but suffering from bilateral hand injuries.

We're told officers placed tourniquets on both of the man's arms before transporting him to a nearby hospital. His injuries were described as debilitating but not life-threatening.
