Walmart InHome delivery now in Ohio, plus half off Walmart+ membership

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Walmart just announced that it has expanded InHome Delivery to Ohio for new and existing Walmart Plus customers. New Walmart+ shoppers get a 30-day free trial. After the trial period ends, the delivery add-on is available at regular price of $7 per month or $40 per year.

The InHome delivery service brings great convenience during the busy holiday season. While standard delivery of Walmart+ packages occurs outside your home, InHome Delivery dispatches an employee to make the delivery. Walmart says the associate will drop it off at the shopper's preferred location, such as the porch, near the garage or inside the house.

With permission, the employee uses a one-time access code to open a customer's door or garage. An employee wears a camera on his vest so the entire delivery is recorded. Walmart says the video will be available on a shopper's Walmart account for up to a week after each delivery.

Other benefits for InHome Delivery include free 24/7 access to veterinary experts from your phone with Pawp and savings at Burger King, where you can get 25% off every day and get a free Whopper with any purchase every 3 months, says Walmart.

According to Walmart, the expansion of InHome delivery service includes an additional 13 million eligible U.S. households, including people residing in Ohio. Greater Cleveland will have access to InHome Delivery, bringing fresh groceries, essentials and last-minute holiday items right to your door.

Sign up for Walmart's offer before December 2nd to get half off your Walmart+ memberships. Walmart shoppers can get the deal online now – an annual Walmart+ membership for $49 (originally $98).

Membership also lets you unlock early access to Black Friday deals, delivery, free delivery gas discounts and more.
