Spanish soldiers search for missing people as death toll rises

Spanish rescue teams are searching for dozens of missing people in the flood-hit town of Paiporta, as the death toll from this week's storms rose to at least 158.

Paiporta, a town inland from Valencia on Spain's east coast, is still largely inaccessible, leaving many of its 27,000 residents without water or electricity. The national government has deployed 1,700 soldiers to the region to support emergency services.
