Motorcyclist killed in crash in Walton County

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – A 30-year-old Santa Rosa Beach man has died in a crash in Walton County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 1:48 a.m. Friday morning, a motorcyclist was traveling on Road 30A near Preserve Place when he veered off the roadway.

The driver crashed into a Walton County Sheriff's Office traffic sign trailer, was thrown from his motorcycle onto the road and then struck by a blue Chevrolet.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported.
