Nevada State Police are investigating a fatal crash on I-11, Sunset

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police are investigating a fatal crash on I-11 near Sunset Road Friday morning.

According to police, a car and a motorcycle collided in the area around 3:53 a.m. The motorcyclist was confirmed dead at the scene of the accident.

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Sunset Road are closed at I-11. The northbound sunset ramp onto I-11 is also closed.

Additionally, eastbound traffic on Sunset Road will be detoured onto the I-11 southbound ramp.

The area will remain closed for several hours while the investigation takes place.

The public is advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
