Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson wear a couple costume

Bill Belichick had a catch of the day, but it wasn't a football.

The former NFL coach donned a fisherman costume that matched his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson's mermaid costume for the couple's first Halloween together.

The former Bridgewater State University cheerleader posted pictures of the couple on her Instagram as the two happily posed on the beach in their costumes, with Belichick mimicking him catching Hudson with his fishing rod.

Hudson looked up admiringly at the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach in the snaps she posted.

Belichick wore a bucket hat, raincoat, jeans and boots as part of his getup, as well as the aforementioned fishing rod.

Hudson wore a mermaid tail with scales on it.

“Ouucchhhh!!!” She captioned the two pictures with an emoji depicting a fishing hook.

Belichick and Hudson began dating after the former Patriots coach broke up with his longtime girlfriend Linda Holiday.

Belichick and his new girlfriend, who is 48 years younger than him, met on a flight together in 2021.

The mermaid costume was Hudson's second Halloween costume this year, after she donned one that paid homage to her football coach boyfriend.

Photos obtained by TMZ showed Hudson dressing up as Belichick while celebrating an engagement at Disney World over the weekend, when he was the Giants' defensive coordinator.

In the photos, she was seen wearing a white Giants t-shirt paired with white shorts and at a glance, she could be seen standing just as stoically as Belichick did when he was a coach.

The photos of Hudson that made the rounds following the TMZ report sparked a cheeky response from former NFL quarterback and current Prime Video analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick.

“For all the 48 year old hopeless romantics out there who think their future human might not even be born yet,” Fitzpatrick wrote on social media.
