🏈 Good morning to everyone, but especially to…

GARRETT WILSON AND THE NEW YORK JETS

For the Jets To climb out of their significant hole at the start of the season they will need an extraordinary effort. Thursday, Garrett Wilson One and one vintage were delivered Aaron Rodgers-To-Davante Adams Connection did the rest with a much-needed 21-13 victory over the Texan. It ends the Jets' five-game losing streak.

  • Wilson made two one-handed touchdown catches, the second of which is are some of the best catches you will ever seea leaping one-handed jab that seemed impossible until replay proved that he had in fact achieved the impossible. It gave the Jets a 14-10 lead.
  • Then, on a third-and-goal late in the game, Adams was seething Jalen Pitre from the line, and Rodgers placed it perfectly for a 37-yard touchdown.
  • Rodgers in the second half when targeting Wilson/Adams: 10 for 11 for 147 yards, three touchdowns, perfect passer rating of 158.3

The defense, on the other hand, was excellent and limiting CJ Stroud to an 11-for-30 passing game (the worst of his career) for 191 yards. Houston's offensive line remains a mess in pass protection β€” Stroud recorded a career-best eight sacks β€” and Stroud deserves his fair share of the blame. Don't have Nico Collins still Stefon Diggs in a short week made things even more difficult. I'm worried about Houston's offense, but not officially yet. Collins' return next week will be a huge help.

Long story short, the Jets absolutely needed this. At 3-6 there's still a long, long climb ahead, but this is a glimmer of hope that could turn into something more.

🏈 College Football Week 10 Preview: Can Penn State get over the hurdle against Ohio State?

USATSI

Something has to give No. 4 Ohio State at No. 3 Penn State. The Buckeyes are 2-6 against top-five teams Ryan Day. The Nittany Lions are 1-12 against top-five teams below James Franklin and losing seven straight games to Ohio State.

This is a very big event, the latest in a series of big events this season. It is already the fifth duel between the top five teams; Last year there was only one such game in the regular season. Penn State quarterback Drew Allar (Lower body) will be a Game time decisionand Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard will hope not to get beaten up behind a shaky offensive line against one of the most fearsome pass rushes in the country. In The six pack of best betssays Tom Fornelli…

  • Fornelli: β€œTo put it as kindly as possible, the Buckeyes offensive line looked bad Nebraska. … Well, Penn State's defensive line is much better than Nebraska's, and I have a hard time imagining a scenario where Ohio State's offensive line recovers enough to hold Abdul Carter and keep society in check. I'm well aware of Franklin's story against Ohio State, and while it scares me, I have more confidence in Penn State's offense than Ohio State's offense right now. The Pick: Penn State +3.5 (-115)

⚾ MLB offseason: What's next for Dodgers, Yankees and top free agents?

USATSI

We are less than 48 hours into the MLB offseason and we already have one remarkable trade as well as early odds for next year's World Series champs.

  1. Dodgers (+400)
  2. Yankees (+700)
  3. Brave (+750)
  4. Phillies (+1000)
  5. Oriole (+1100)

It's no surprise that the Dodgers are on top. They have been excellent for years, and as Matt Snyder writes: This could be the beginning of even higher dynastic reaches.

  • The pitching staff could include: Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, Clayton Kershaw, Tony Gonsolin And Dustin May all returning from injury to join Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
  • Ohtani, Mookie Betts And Freddie Freeman (who won the World Series MVP despite playing through even more injuries than we thought and sits down quietly one of the best decades ever) lead a loaded lineup.
  • There is a great, opportunistic front office that is willing and able to spend money.
  • The player development is second to none.

Yes, the Dodgers are doing well. The Yankees have now done it big decisions for this offseason.

The biggest thing is of course Juan Soto. He says the Yankees have no inherent advantageSo it could be a wild winter. He is undoubtedly No. 1 in RJ Anderson's Top 25 Free Agents. Here are the top 5:

  1. BY Juan Soto
  2. RHP Corbin Burnes
  3. 3B Alex Bregman
  4. LHP Blake Snell
  5. LHP Max Fried

RJ has potential landing sites for all 25 players.
