Highway 160 in Grayson County closed after two-vehicle accident

WHITEWRIGHT, Texas (KXII) – Highway 160 was closed following a serious incident Friday morning.

The accident occurred before 7:30 a.m. near Desert Lake Road. Two vehicles were involved in the accident, according to Lt. Jeremy Cox of the Grayson County Sheriff's Office.

The Grayson County Sheriff's Office, Whitewright Emergency Responders and the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol are on scene. Injuries are not confirmed at this time.

It is unknown when the highway will reopen. Authorities are asking drivers to temporarily avoid the area.
