Donald Trump supporters claim election conspiracy after ABC reports Pennsylvania results

Far-right conspiracy theorists came to life when a local ABC affiliate appeared seemed to show Kamala Harris to win over the embattled state of Pennsylvania Donald Trump on a ticker running under a broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday. The apparent election results – broadcast on WNEP-TV, an affiliate in Moosic, Pennsylvania – showed the Democrat with 52 percent of the vote, while Trump was at 47. Current survey has the race a complete deadlock for the state's 19 voters. Furious social media skeptics quickly accused Trump of massive fraud: “The fraud is there,” wrote user @TGrammie2 under an X with a screenshot of the ticker. “They leaked the script!” added user @JustinSutliffe. After the incident, a broadcaster from the network said that the numbers were an error and did not reflect the actual election results. The Daily Mail reported. “The numbers displayed on the screen were randomly generated test results sent out to help news organizations ensure their equipment was working properly before election night,” the station reportedly said. Trump, who claimed fraud after losing the 2020 election, has done so urged his followers to make 2024 “too big to manipulate.” Trump and Harris are feverishly continuing their campaign to win Pennsylvania and other battleground states.
