November 10 brings several notable battles to the Octagon

Chandler ends a two-year layoff with a second straight bout at Madison Square Garden and a third appearance at November's annual pay-per-view festival in New York in just six appearances. He ended up on the wrong side of a clash with Dustin Poirier last time out and after his oft-delayed fight with Conor McGregor fell through, the 38-year-old hopes his return will see him reach the top of the lightweight division and knock out the former champion.

These two met for the vacant lightweight title at UFC 262 in May 2021, with Chandler injuring Oliveira midway through the opening round before the Brazilian recovered and finished early in the second round. Will we see a similar outcome in the sequel, or can Chandler turn his fortunes around and make a big splash with his return to action?

Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic

A year later than originally planned, Jon Jones will defend his heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC 309.

Jones captured the belt in his divisional debut against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 in March 2023, handing the French athlete just over two minutes to become the last fighter to win UFC gold in two weight classes. It was Jones' first appearance since pre-pandemic, and while his physique had certainly changed with the weight gain, he looked every bit the elite talent he has been throughout his UFC career.

Fighting for the first time since losing the heavyweight title in March 2021, Miocic looks set to become just the second person in UFC history to win gold three times in the same weight class. Every time he failed throughout his career, the Ohio native bounced back with multiple wins and will certainly look to keep that pattern going here too.
