Fashion designer Rohit Bal has died: Ananya Panday, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and others mourn his death

Renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal passed away on November 1, 2024 after a protracted battle with a heart disease. The 63-year-old was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries cardiac arrestbut he couldn't make it.
The news of his death shocked fans and people in the film and fashion industries. Celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Sidharth Malhotra mourn his loss by sharing their pictures with him.
In an official Instagram post, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) verified the information. The Fashion designer had a long-standing heart condition and even underwent angioplasty after a cardiac arrest. A few weeks ago, the designer resumed her work at the Lakme Fashion Week.
Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Salman Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kajol and other celebrities were among those he had worked with. The news of his death shocked and devastated many people.
Sonam Kapoor shared several photos of herself walking the ramp for him on her Instagram stories and writing a heartfelt note for him. The fashionista also posted a screenshot of their recent conversation in which she complimented him on his performance.

Along with the pictures, she wrote, “Dear Gudda, I hear of your death on the way to celebrate Diwali in your creation which you generously lent to me for the second time. I was lucky to have known you, carried you and walked you.” I hope you are always at peace and your biggest fan.
Ananya Panday also posted a picture from her recent ramp walk for the designer. She wrote, “Gudda, Om Shanti.” Kareena Kapoor posted some old photos of the designer along with a few heart emojis on her stories. Sidharth Malhotra also posted a throwback picture of him walking in a show for Bal and wrote, “Deeply saddened by the loss. May his soul rest in peace. “Om Shanti.”

Rohit Bal, who was also known as Gudda in the industry, was known for breaking conventions by creating clothes that were inclusive of all genders.
