Today the first Friday art walk takes place | Vincennes PBS

The First Friday Art Walk in Vincennes takes place tonight from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and features a showcase of local talent across multiple galleries.

At Art Space Vincennes on Main Street, John presents puffer Photos for Lulua collection documenting his career as a photographer and inspired by his daughter's request. Puffer, a retired Vincennes University professor, will be available to discuss his work.

The Northwest Territory Art Guild on Main will highlight current and past works by local artist Amy Lane, as well as seasonal works by other guild members.

At the Open Gallery, sculptor Barry Barnes and artist Randi Frye will explore the dynamics of collaboration between two artists in their Spouse series.

Finally, Shircliff Gallery will showcase Sarah Wolfe's nature-inspired art, with a focus on reconnecting people with the environment.

Additionally, St. James Episcopal Church on Perry Street is sponsoring an art exhibit and performance on All Saints Day. It begins at 5 p.m. and features area residents displaying artwork created by or in memory of a loved one. Performances of music, poetry and literature are also part of the evening.
