TNF Week 9: Houston Texans at New York Jets

Welcome to Week 9 of the 2024 NFL Regular Season and Happy Halloween!

I've been complaining lately about how the Pittsburgh Steelers seem to be on every prime time game, but so were the New York Jets. I'm literally good on seeing either of these teams back in prime time for the rest of the season. However, I will enjoy this game if it results in another Aaron Rodgers loss after his head coach was seemingly fired.

Kickoff is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. Mile High Time at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and will air on Prime Video.

My prediction

According to FanDuel, the Jets are somehow 2.5-point favorites at home over the Houston Texans. I'll be here with CJ Stroud and the Texans all day. The Jets defense is a shell of its former self and the Texans are playing top-10 football on all sides. This line makes absolutely no sense to me. I even checked the injury report to make sure I didn't miss anything important. I didn't. Bring the pain, Houston.
