Following an investigation by the drug task force, two people were arrested

FRANKLIN, Ky. (WBKO) – On September 26, the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force received an anonymous tip about an individual living on Blackjack Road receiving large amounts of marijuana and fentanyl from abroad.

According to the press release, during the investigation, officers were able to determine probable cause for a search warrant.

A search warrant was issued for the apartment on October 30th. Investigators found over five pounds of marijuana, several paraphernalia, a large amount of cash, a firearm and suspected psilocybin mushrooms.

Caitlin Hackworth and Antonio Digiuseppe were arrested and charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds (first offense with firearm addition).
