Republicans will “likely” try to repeal the CHIPS law that lured Micron to Central New York, House Speaker says

House Republicans will “likely” try to repeal the CHIPS and Science Act, the bill that Micron Technology is relying on to build a massive factory in central New York, House Speaker Mike Johnson said Friday told reporters in Syracuse.

A reporter asked Johnson whether Republicans would repeal the bill if former President Donald Trump was elected and Republicans won the majority in the House.
