“Tom Cruise aims for a sequel to the unexpected film 34 years later”

After the immense success of new parts of the Top Gun And Mission: Impossible Tom Cruise has developed many franchises over the past few years and may be filming another big sequel soon. The news comes 34 years after the film's original release in theaters.




The Hollywood Reporter revealed this Cruise is in talks with Paramount about a possible role in a sequel to the 1990 film Days of Thunder. The film was a modest box office success upon its release, grossing $157 million against a $60 million budget, and with Cruise bigger than ever, it's not hard to see why Paramount is making another classic film would like to revisit with the legendary actor. Top Gun: Maverick was incredibly successful for the studio upon its release in 2022, garnering critical acclaim and grossing more than $1.4 billion.
